Checkers Tournament at UGOI MIR

On September 13, 2023, Ufa’s "MIR" Society for People with Disabilities hosted an open checkers tournament at the "Cat’s House" club-museum. The event brought together players from different organizations, including the "MIR" Checkers Club, "Imenlek" Care Home, and disability associations from Kirovsky and Ordzhonikidzevsky Districts, as well as independent participants—23 competitors in total.

The tournament was held in a lively and friendly atmosphere, with participants giving their best and celebrating their victories. Men and women competed in separate categories, with the men’s division playing 7 rounds.

The "Imenlek" team showed excellent results:

• Pavel Stolyarov took 1st place, winning the championship cup.
• Danis Fazalov secured 2nd place.

3rd place – Irina Karimova

Men’s Division:
1st place – Pavel Stolyarov
2nd place – Danis Fazalov
