On October 15, 2021, UGOI MIR hosted a meeting with Lutfiya Kabulzhanovna Mukhitdinova, chief expert of the Department for Recognizing Citizens in need of social Services at the Republican Center for Social Services.
Last year, also in October, she came to us and told us about inpatient social services, explained in which cases it was necessary to apply for a place in the DI and PSNI, and touched upon the topic of foster families in our republic.
The main topic of the meeting was social services at home. The need for help arises among the elderly, the lonely, those with health problems, and parents of disabled children in need of support. It is important that citizens know where to turn for help.
Lutfiya Kabulzhanovna highlighted the following issues:
- recognition of a citizen in need of social services, departure of a specialist;
- necessary documents, including a certificate from the medical commission;
- preparation of the IPPSU (individual program for the provision of social services);
- list of services provided by social workers;
- Autonomous non-profit organizations in Ufa districts that provide social services;
- the opportunity to receive social services without registration in the State Institution RCSON, under an agreement with the Autonomous Non-profit Organization;
- short-term care (3-4 hours).
Services can be provided to people with disabilities, parents of children with disabilities, and other citizens.
