On April 13, 2022, a DRAUGHTS tournament among people with disabilities, dedicated to Cosmonautics Day, was held at the Koshkin Dom club-museum in UGOI MIR.
The competition was attended by athletes of the MIR draughts club, as well as disabled people from the organization of the disabled of the Oktyabrsky district of Ufa. There are 10 participants in total. According to the results of the competition, the winners were determined:
- 1st place – Rosa Khamitova (MIR draughts club);
- 2nd place – Sergey Kanakov (ROI of the Oktyabrsky district of Ufa);
- 3rd place – Shayakhmetov Ildar (draughts club "MIR").
The winners were awarded with medals and diplomas, as well as sweet gifts.
On this day, we also wished happy birthday to Mars Kimovich Fayzutdinov, a consulting coach at the MIR draughts club, an international master of sports in Russian and stocklet draughts.
Dear Mars Kimovich, We wish you health, well-being, and success in teaching adults and children to play checkers! You know how to convey your love for this game to the people around you and inspire them to practice! Thank you for your patience and hard work!
