Festive event in Kashkadan Park

On June 12, 2023, an open mass sports event among people with disabilities dedicated to Russia Day and City Day was held in Kashkadan Recreation and Culture Park.

The competition program included 5 sports: running, wheelchair racing, kettlebell lifting, darts, and shot put.

The competition was attended by teams from the Serafimovsky orphanage, Starobaish boarding school, Altair, OTS Beehive, UGOI Mir, Ufa Correctional School No. 28, as well as district organizations of the disabled of Leninsky, Kirovsky, Oktyabrsky, Sovetsky, Demsky, Ordzhonikidze districts of Ufa, the team of the Chishminsky district organization of the disabled. More than 100 people took part in the event.

Gymnasts of the Spartak Olympic Reserve School and distinguished guests performed at the opening of the competition.
The award ceremony concluded the event, which was accompanied by the performance of songs and dancing by the participants themselves. The winners of the competitions were awarded with cups, medals and diplomas, as well as incentive prizes.

According to the results of the competition, the winners were determined in the team competition.:

• 1st place – Altair;
• 2nd place – the disabled team of the Leninsky district;
• 3rd place – UGOI "MIR".

We would like to express our deep gratitude to the judging panel – 21 sports schools, the Darts Federation in the Republic of Belarus, which tried to be attentive to the participants and fair. We would like to express our gratitude to the Committee on Culture and Sports of the Oktyabrsky District Administration of Ufa. The volunteers provided assistance and support for the event.

Teams of athletes, disabled people, children, and accompanying persons showed an active position, perseverance, and the will to win. Thank you all for participating. We hope that the participants received new impressions, positive emotions and the desire for new achievements!
