On March 9, 2025, a physical culture and sports event among people with disabilities was held at the Sports Training Center of the Republic of Belarus at 24/1 Sultanova St., Ufa. The competitions were held in the weightlifting hall and in the universal hall.
The competitions included the following types:
- - kettlebell lifting;
- - Russian bench press;
- - arm wrestling;
- - long jump from a standing position;
- - sitting volleyball.
Teams from Ufa, cities and districts of the Republic of Belarus came to take part in the competition: Bakalinsky stumps, Kumertau stumps, Buzdyaksky stumps, Ishimbaysky stumps, Serafimovsky orphanage, OGO BRO VOI Oktyabrsky SKC "Without barriers", district organizations of disabled people of Leninsky, Kirovsky districts of Ufa, Ufa district, BRO VOI "OPORA", a team of ITS participants and independent participants. There are about 70 people in total.
According to the results of the competitions for each sport, the winners and prize-winners were determined. In the team competition, the places were distributed as follows:
1st place – Oktyabrsky SKC "Without barriers";
2nd place – Serafimovsky orphanage;
3rd place – Bakalinsky stumps.
The award ceremony concluded the event. The winners were awarded with medals, diplomas, cups and small prizes. We wish the athletes new achievements and a joyful mood! All the participants tried and made efforts.
We would like to express our deep gratitude to the judging team, who tried to be attentive to the participants and fair, as well as to the Sports Training Center and the volunteer team for their help in holding the event.
