Physical culture and sports event at the Sports Training Center of the Republic of Bashkortostan in 6 sports

As part of the projects of the UGOI "MIR" "Light of Dance" and "Light of Change", which are implemented with funds from a grant from the Head of the Administration of the City District of Ufa of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Presidential Grants Fund, on March 13, 2024, a physical education and sports event was held among people with disabilities at the Center for Sports and Recreation of the Republic of Bashkortostan located at 24/1 Sultanova St., Ufa.

The competitions were held in the weightlifting hall and in the universal hall. The competitions were opened by the dance neuroplasticity studio "Light of Dance" with a demonstration performance - the sports march "Heroes of Sports", which charged the competitors with vigor and the desire to win!

The competitions included the following types:

• - kettlebell lifting;
• - Russian bench press (lying down);
• - arm wrestling;
• - darts;
• - long jump;
• - sitting volleyball.

The teams of the ROI VOI of the Leninsky, Oktyabrsky districts of Ufa, Ufa district, Serafimovsky children's home-boarding school, Verkhnetroitsky PNI, Yanaulsky PNI, Salavatsky PNI, Blagoveshchensky PNI, Arkhangelsk boarding school "Mercy", Oktyabrsky boarding school, Public center "Uley", teams of Karaidelsky and Karmaskalinsky districts, UGOI "Mir" came to take part in the competition. In total, more than 80 people.

While the results were being summed up, the Public center "Uley" pleased the participants with two dances: "Cowboy" and "Cumbia".

Based on the results of the competition, winners and prize-winners were determined in each sport. In the team standings, the places were distributed as follows:

1 place – ROI of the Leninsky District of Ufa;
2 place – ROI of the Ufa District;
3 place – Blagoveshchensky PNI.

The event ended with an awards ceremony. The winners were awarded medals, certificates, cups and sweet gifts. We wish the athletes new achievements and a joyful mood! All participants tried and made an effort.

We express our deep gratitude to the judging team, which tried to be attentive to the participants and fair, as well as to the Sports Training Center and the team of volunteers for their help in holding the event.
