On June 12, 2022, the Gafuri Park of Culture and Recreation hosted an open mass physical education event among people with disabilities dedicated to Russia Day and City Day.
The competition program included 8 sports: running, wheelchair racing, figure wheelchair driving, kettlebell lifting, darts, long jump, shot put, football (ball rolling).
The teams "Altair", OTS "Beehive", "House without Borders", Oktyabrsky "Volunteer", UGOI "MIR", as well as district organizations of disabled people in Leninsky, Kirovsky, Oktyabrsky, Sovetsky districts of Ufa, the Ufa district team and the village of Chishma, as well as independent disabled people participated in the competition.
The award ceremony concluded the event. The winners of the competition were awarded with medals and diplomas, as well as incentive prizes.
According to the results of the competition, the winners were determined in the team competition.:
1st place – the disabled team of the Leninsky district;
2nd place – Altair;
3rd place – October "Volunteer".
We would like to express our deep gratitude to the judging team, the 21 sports schools that tried to be attentive to the participants and fair, as well as the Ufa city administration. The event was assisted and supported by volunteers from the Ufa Volunteer Association.
Teams of athletes, disabled people, children, and accompanying persons showed an active position, perseverance, and the will to win. Thank you all for participating.
