On December 20, 2021, the Classic Billiard Club hosted a Russian billiards tournament among people with disabilities, dedicated to the memory of Elena Vasilyeva.
A snowstorm and the remote location of the club did not prevent fans of billiards from taking part in the tournament. Teams from organizations with disabilities from Kalininsky, Sovetsky, Kirovsky, Oktyabrsky districts of Ufa, the OPORA team, Tuimazy, Beloretsk, as well as independent participants who are not members of teams, came to the competition. More than 20 people took part in the tournament. It is a pleasure to see the participants from Tuimaza and Beloretsk. Billiards competitions were held in three categories: the women's category, the category for men with musculoskeletal system (POD) and the GENERAL category.
The tournament was dedicated to the memory of Elena Vasilyeva, the chairman of the Oktyabrskaya district organization of the disabled, a sensitive, cheerful, sympathetic person who died suddenly. We express our sincere condolences to all Elena's family and friends. Elena Vasilyeva's parents came to the tournament.
