Sports and festive event dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day and International Women's Day

On March 5, 2020, the Ufa City Organization of the Disabled "MIR", together with the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Ufa City Administration, organized and held billiards and backgammon competitions among people with disabilities at the Olympus Billiard Club.

The competition was attended by athletes from Tuimazy, Beloretsk, district organizations of the disabled of Ufa, the Republican Gerontological Center Imenlek, veterans of the Kalininsky and Ordzhonikidze districts of Ufa – a total of 9 teams with a total number of athletes – 60 people.

I was pleased with the significantly increased skill level of the billiard players in recent years – there was little outside conversation, everyone was calm and focused on winning every game at the billiard table. The intensity of the fight is evidenced by the fact that the competition ended late in the evening, already at ten o'clock.

This time, the strongest athletes were from Tuimaz, who won the cup for 1st place in the team competition. The second were athletes from the Demsky district and the third were athletes from the Kalininsky district of Ufa.
