On April 21, the UGOI MIR group visited the museum of the 112th Bashkir Cavalry Division.
The purpose of visiting the museum was: to form a sense of patriotism and love for the Motherland; to foster a sense of pride in their country and republic by the example of the heroic deeds of Bashkir cavalrymen; to foster respect for the older generation and monuments.
During the tour, we saw original expositions telling about the combat path of the 112th Bashkir Cavalry Division, which was formed at the Dema station and in the surrounding villages.
We saw the original exhibits and copies, captured items, Soviet weapons, an officer's tablet, as well as dioramas of wax figures representing the exploits of the "Ataevites" and the crossing of the Dnieper.
After the tour, some of our disabled people thought about the battles that the soldiers and ordinary people had experienced. The topic of the mysterious disappearance of General Shaimuratov himself was also touched upon, which struck some of us.
The impressions of the fascinating tour were the most positive and the bright memory of General Minigali Shaimuratov is alive among the people. We remember our hero and are proud of him!
